Chernobyl Disaster 26th Anniversary
Thursday 26th April 2012 marked 26 years since reactor No.4 at the Chernobyl nuclear power station exploded creating the worlds worst ever nuclear disaster.

Tranwell Car Boot Fair
Sunday 13th May 2012
Nobles Promotions Ltd, very kindly allowed us a stand, at their Tranwell Car Boot Fair, for free.
We were second in the sellers queue at 10:40 on a cold and very windy Sunday morning. We drove onto the disused World War II airfield (RAF Morpeth) at about 11:30 and began setting up. The wind immediately began unsetting up. After about an hour we'd tied, layed and weighed down all of our stuff.
The boot sale opened at 1pm and battle commenced. It was pretty heavy going for about an hour but most of the stuff was sold. We hung on until 3pm, packed up the remains and headed for warm slippers and hot tea.
After totting up all the 10p, 20p, 50p & £1 coins, we'd raised £105.50p for the Chernobyl Orphan Group... the warm feeling inside was very nice... and welcome after such a chilling experience.
Noble Promotions have offered the charity two additional free stands (that's not like a long stand) at the Tranwell Car Boot Fair in the 2012 season. Dates still to be arranged and more stock still to collect!!
